So i've only just noticed this bolt on since I upgraded.

Prior to this I had the o2 travel as part of my iphone 7 plus deal but now I have this instead...

Does this mean I will be charged if I use Data/Texts/Phone in Europe such as ROI, Germany when I use data, call a fellow traveller in the country or text/call/email home?

I have a 30gb unlimited text and minutes package so I am a bit confused as I know the laws for the EU roaming but I have never seen the 'standard rates' in our EU zone thing.

I didn't opt out - I had it on my iPhone and when I upgraded last week it didn't carry over.

I didn't manually opt out.

The bolt on is no longer required for any EU countries so you will always have standard rates in EU which are included in your UK allowances, as per the first link I gave you.
Don't worry about it not being an EU bolt on anymore.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
