"Call Rejected" Simplicity sim card

Hey guys,
So I ordered a new 02 Simplicty sim card and I put the sim card in my unlocked Samsung S8000 Jet.
When I tried ringing the Jet from the landline and another mobile phone, the call did not go through and a message came up on the mobile saying "call rejected". (I did not reject the call.)
Can anyone help me with this. Any information will be greatly appreciated

Which phone displayed the 'call rejected' message?
Incidentally, you have topped up the new SIM to activate the new account so that you can make and receive calls?

the mobile said the call was rejected. I was sent two 02 Sims and both are saying the sme thing

The phone i was calling from to my 02 sim inserted handset said this message

That's confusing. I'm going to assume that its the phone you are calling from which displays the message.
If so, my second question is important. Have you topped up the new phones.

Im sorry
Basically, from another mobile phone with credit on it.... i rang my handset with the o2 sim. the call wasnt answered saying call rejected. My handset with the o2 sim has not been topped up. I wasnt sure if i should top it up when the sim clearly didnt work unless topping up makes it work... if that makes sense?

Payg sims aren't activated until they've been topped up
