porting number

Hello everyone,

I need to port my number from Orange/ee. Have my PAC code ready to go. I've never ported before and I was wondering how smooth the process is.

I'm mainly worried about not having a number over weekend during the process. I will I have use of my temp number o2 gave me until the port is complete?

That is really helpful. Does anyone know how long the process takes on average (I know it can vary) and is it worth me starting the process ASAP or waiting until Monday, to avoid being without a number over the weekend. Do they even deal with porting over the weekend?

My sister in law recently ported from voda to EE and it was just 2 days. Bear in mind, it is currently a very busy period for mobile networks due to the seasonal releases of new android flagships.

Normally 2-4 days but O2 will give you a date when the port will take place.

No they don't unfortunately, always better to wait till Monday.
