Hi, I recently took out a new plan with O2 and requested that my old mobile number [Removed] be ported over to the new sim that was sent out [Removed]. My old number seems to be in operation (since the 19/6/24)as i am now receiving calls and texts for [Removed] but this old number  is not listed in my phone settings and is not properly  referenced in any emails I'm receiving. Could you advise as to why this is the case and whether it will change.  Many thanks, Linda

[mod note: we've removed some personal phone numbers as these messages are publicly viewable. Thanks 😊]

The number displayed in your phone settings will not change unless you have an iPhone in which case, you must change it in Settings >Phone >My Number.

O2 communications should update after a while, if not, contact O2 Guide: How to find help & contact O2

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
