personal hotspot charges on O2?

hi,
If I use my phone as a personal hotspot for data for a laptop are there any additional charges from O2 or is it included in my contract? I've just started s new pay monthly contract with 30gb a month included.

@scott123 I don't believe there are extra charges except if you go over your allowance, but you should double check with customer service, or take a look at your contract.

No you wont be charged for using your phone as a personal hotspot. You can use your data allowance as you see fit.

You also cannot exceed your allowance. You will get a text when you hit 80% and then it will stop working when you hit 100%.

If you run out you can add a bolton.
