Some state go go go is just the renamed basic payg service but with your 10 pound from your first month now immediately reduced to 0, instead of being kept along with your free txt and call allowance. Not that competitive of O2 (if you are on a basic mobile thats not requiring any web allowance at least), but I thought id try it anyway.
My query is how long do I need to wait until I get my free txts and 75mins etc on my second month of go go go? I activated go go go last month, my credit was 0 thereafter but I could use my allowance. I received a message a few days ago that I had to top up before today (the 10th). I topped up using my mobile on the phone on the 7th, choosing go go go and adding 10 pound. The balance then showed as 10 pound as I used my txt and calltime, but these werent free. My phone balance gradually reduced to 0 during usage of calls+txt, just before the 10th, and it now states I have no credit when I attempt to send anything.
Was the mistake that I had to simply keep this 10 pound in my phone, and that on the 10th (today) that credit would have been automatically taken by O2, and I would then have my stated text, call and web allowance? If so, then I believe im not the only one to have questioned this-I know other O2 customers who believed if they merely topped up before the 10th, the allowance would automatically be activated, especially given that when topping up, it asks you what service, and you choose go go go. I think O2 needs to be clear in that you must KEEP your credit in your phone for this specific date, if the above is true.
Thanks for any help!!

it is in the t&C If you don't have enough credit for the allowance that you've selected, you'll be charged at standard rates.
