Your contract doesn't end until you cancel or PAC out.

thank you , the problem I have is as I requested to end my contract , they have done so and now I have no service so I cant send a message from my phone to request the PAC. I cant find it in My o2 as it says I have no products . Im guessing the only option is to call in the morning.

If you have been disconnected as per your request your number is in a ‘pool’ it after 6m is handed back to the original first issuing network.

They should have made you aware of the procedure of using a PAC to keep your number when asking to disconnect & if you wanted a PAC issued.

They will need to ‘unpool’ the number to a payg sim for you. This is technical, customer service won’t know how to do this most likely so ask to speak to someone in tech support if the customer care person hasn’t a clue about what you are asking.
