o2 sim swap...now i have two numbers? confusing!!!

Hi all..

 

just recently done a sim swap from my old sim to my new iphone micro-sim but now whoever i contact they say i have a new number that shows up when i message them so im guessing i have two number on one sim? i'm sorry if this does sound confusing but im not the most technically gifted person when it comes to gadges etc.

Try this:

 

Settings > Messages > iMessage (turn off, then on) it tries to validate wrong number and after a few minutes it changes to the correct one and your problem should be  solved.

How did you do the SIM swap and when?
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Sounds like "My number" needs to be changed in the phone.
