o2 sim only (2008 tarrif ) mms does not download

Hey Guys

 

All of a sudden I can not seem to receive mms message/ it seems to send  fine....it just says downloading...?

Could someone please shed some light.

 

The sim is a sim only / pay monthly

 

I called o2 and they advised to enter the following :

Mobile data

apn :mobile.02.co.uk

 

mms:

apn: http://mmsc.mms.o2.co.uk:8002

size: 307200

 

(original setting was) :http://mmsc-ac.mms.o2.co.uk:10021/mmsc

size: 2097152

 

Any help apppreciated.

forgot to mention new proxy they advised :
193.113.200.195:8080

old one was :
82.132.254.1:8080

The old settings have worked for 4 years...
the only change I usually made was changing the mms apn to wap ( from idata )

Am I reading this right? Max size is 2Mb? Pretty small for a photo...

 

Maybe this is the problem - picture is too big?

The sending device can't send it if too big.
