o2 roaming - When sending text "requested facility not subscribed" error

Hi - I am roaming my O2 phone in Nigeria, a blackberry. I can receive text messages but when I reply or compose a new message it gives the message "requested facility not subscribed". Any suggestions?

Only thing I can think of is a battery pull to reset the phone.
I'm not a BB expert and we don't have any regular BB users either, sorry.

Try manually selecting a different network in Nigeria.
