any1 know what to do if my o2 contract phone has gone through the washer abow wont work

Well if you have insurance you need to make a claim. Check if home insurance covers personal possessions.

 

Other than that you will have to replace the phone at your own expense and carry on with your contract using the sim card. You may find that the sim will also need replacing.

Hi,

 

 

Also check your Bank Account T&C to see if they provide cover too.

 

Don't turn it on but instead try to rice method.

 

What you'll find though if it does work is that the oxidation on the internal boards will cause issues.

 

Some companies buy non working phones for a small fee.
