Hi, I just came back from my holyday about 1 month and o2 charge me 450pounds

I think its because of i wasnt connected with the service. (I was using Korean SIM)

It looks like some kind of recoccection fee or something.

If it is, is it negotiable?

I cant pay that at the same time ;(

thank you.

They have misunderstood and instead thought that you wanted to end your monthly contract early which has meant you would have to pay the early termination fee.

If you just didn't connect for a month on a monthly contract they would not just assume you had ran away and disconnect you.

There must have been some form of request/indication you wished to cancel.

It is quite simple anyway, if you do not wish to cancel there is no early termination fee.  Just call O2 and the fee will go away.

Did you pay your bill whilst you were away?

The bill must have been unpaid and you should have received requests for payment. Did you not get an email saying your online bill was available to view?

The only way that it would be actually terminiated (rather than barred) would mean the bill must have been unpaid for a good while, certainly not just a month.

Something doesn't quite add up.

Why is this ticked as a solution? Not connecting to the network for a month wouldn't raise a demand for £400. I don't think we are being given the full story from the OP.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2
