o2 Chats

Hey, I had a conversation using o2 chats last afternoon. When I clicked end chat, the window just disappeared. Usually it gives me the option to send me a transcript of the conversation, which did not happen this time.

 

I was wondering if there is anyway to recover the chat we had as I think there was valuable information in it.

Unfortunately not unless you can contact them again and ask to be emailed a transcript. I'm not sure if they can but worth asking.

The button to request an email transcript is on the main chat window now.
I got caught out by that change too.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Interesting change. Maybe they don't want customers to have a copy of the chat? I wasn't aware of that...

It's not exactly hidden. Just moved.
I wasn't looking for it on the main chat window and "assumed" I would get the option after closing window, but didn't. I then found it on the chat window !

Yes...if I am correct you usually got the option at chat end? There have been a couple of people who said they didn't get the opportunity. Maybe they weren't looking in the right place?...
