not happy with my tariff, want to quite o2

so im on a 24 month contract and pay £27 for unlimited mobile and text calls, but only 1gb of data.

 

my friend who is with three pays £32 and has unlimited thethering and data. 

 

??????

 

so I can get unlimited data with three and 2gb of data with o2 for the same price?

 

im really unhappy with my o2 tariff and want to change, what can I do?

Of people are happy to sign up for a contract they should be prepared to see it out. New deals and tariffs are common and that's the price for getting the phone roily want when you want.

That's why it's better to be on a monthly contract or even P&G and buy the phone yourself. Obviously that's not for everyone.

That's what worries me @jonsie  Currently I am on Unlimited Everything tariff (lucky me) Smiley Very Happy

I doubt I will never be offered that again  so I need to really shop around this December to get the best deal.. for me..:smileywink:

Buyers remorse can play a part and of course it doesn't help when you see someone playing the same approximately amount per month and are enjoying more allowances.

@Cleoriff You wouyld bertainly be best off buying a SIM Free phone and keeping that tariff going.

I think it does depend how much you use I have 8gb of data a month and struggle to use 5gb to be honest I wouldn't need or want unlimited data and bearing in mind it's only 3G

@aldaweb  Would I be allowed to keep that tariff going? I thought at the end of the two years I would have to change?....

I thought I would have to go onto a refesh deal or a rolling contract or somesuch...

No, you can keep the tariff going but you wouldn't get a cost reduction from what you are paying now.
I'd need details of your tariff and cost to advise better (pm it if you wish).

How did you get that tarrif less than 2 years ago O2 had stopped unlimited data before then?
