My number was ported in the morning and as soon as it happened I now have no service. Phone recognizes there is a sim and shows correct number. I went to O2 store and swapped to new sim but it hasn't resolved the problem yet

It's been 21 days since I first reported this issue. After countless calls to support and speaking with managers there is still no solution. The worst customer service from all mobile phone providers. Instead of checking call history they go through same usual scripted messages over and over again and waste an hour time before they realize it's escalated to technical team (sometimes they call it technical team other times porting team). Every single time they tell me it's already escalated call us back in 24-48 hours. There is no urgency to resolve the problem and to top it off I'm already charged one month of bill for no service.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
Please select the post that helped you best and mark as the solution. This helps other members in resolving their issues faster. Thank you.

Leaving people cut off seems not to bother them judging by posts here and my own personal experience.

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

2024 will best be remembered as the year O2 has finally and unofficially gone to the dogs

It's steadily gone downhill month upon month and year upon year!

Although I expect we will see the 'poll full of lies' which states O2 are the best network.

It seems to happen annually!
