this morning i had a msg on my iphone saying o2 have disabled 4g on your device, now i cant make calls, receive calls or use apps or browse the net without wifi. my wife has the same phone with the same contract with o2 and hers is working fine...how can i solve this

This can happen with a network issue O2 Service Status

Reboot your phone and check it again.

The message usually means that O2 are doing work on the mast serving your phone

It's very possible that your wife's phone is connecting to a different mast

Check status here

thanks for the reply guys, restarting my phone didnt work and according to the link supplied above when i enter my postcode everything is working in my area
