@Dw2p0 Check if your sim can be converted

Solved: sim card - O2 Community

If not, You'll need to call customer service.
Numbers here Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support
When it comes to the reason you are calling stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
Say "Upgrade", "Lost/Stolen" or "Fraud" if you have to, to get put through to someone.
8.00am is the best time to call if you can.

i appreciate the advise but so much messing around, i will cancel; on the line to them now.

It will take 30 days for the standard cancel, this gives me plenty of time to source a new sim - nano one- and i can tell everyone the new number before closing this one down.

It is a pitty to loose the deal i have but to be fiar, i am so wound up i no longer want to do buisness with o2; if they can not get something so simple done.

sorry about the mini rant lol

As you're talking to them now, just ask for a new sim @Dw2p0 ?

If you want to retain your number, ask them for a PAC Guide: How to get your PAC [June 2021 Update]
