Few days back I lost my sim card.. today I got the new one, but still not activated, I have been waiting all day, why???

It's possible the bars haven't been removed if you reported your original sim lost. Speak to CS in the morning.

They normally activate up to 24-48 hours. Otherwise any random could use a sim they found in the post.

If its not working by tomorrow try calling CS quoting the sim serial number(back of SIM card) they'll advise you what to do next.

Have you restarted the phone?

well, I got the new sim from local O2 store, they told me its gonna be activated in couple of hours, thats why im worried.. anyway lets wait till tomorrow...

 

p.s restarting the phone did not help.

Argh right sorry I presumed it was mailed:( (my bad)

Hmm it is possible they've naffed it up. Worst case is the sims faulty.

I presume your phone recognises the sim? No error messages?

That's a thing, my phone recognize the sim. shows the signal.. no any errors, apart, I cant make any call and send any text..

Probably they did not remove, because I have reported that my sim card was lost, so might be, its still blocked.. I will let you know tomorrow what's going on..
