I AM NOT PHONE SAVVY AT ALL Confused

IN FACT, I DO NOT HAVE, NOR WANT, A SMART PHONE.

MY QUESTION IS, IS THERE SOME SPECIAL REQUIREMENT WHEN BUYING A PHONE ON AMAZON OR EBAY?  LOCKED/NOT LOCKED?  SIM/NO SIM?

PLEASE FORGIVE MY IGNORANCE.

Just make sure the phone is either fully unlocked (usually called "sim free") or an O2 phone and you can then use your sim in it.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Hi @NOTHAPPY

Firstly I would never buy a phone from Ebay, a lot of people experience problems with them (being sold on for insurance purposes)

If you buy from Amazon, make sure it's from a reputable seller and sold unlocked and sim free.

I have bought many phones from them and never experienced a problem at all

That's great @Anonymous. The 'like new' phones from O2 seem to have good reviews overall.
