new bill

hello everyone,
I have a question, because two month before I took a contract for one month, I paid this bill but I did't break the contract so I had to paid for next( I paid for that too). I broke the contract but today I got a message on my email

"Your O2 bill for 19/09/13 is now ready. The balance on your account means you have nothing to pay this month." so I log on O2 and my " Total amount due" is -9.16 pounds.

What it means?

If I understand it correctly, you took out a 30 day Simplicity contract?

If that's the case and the account has been closed with the relevant 30 day notice you need do nothing else except ask O2 to return the credit to your bank account. You can do this here: O2 - Credit Refund

It means your account is in credit by £9.16

Pretty sure this is a language problem but I can't figure out what is meant.

I don't think they're aware the payments go out by direct debit each month.

This still isn't clear, if you have broken your contract you need to speak to O2 and get it sorted out, you could be liable for a lot of money.

yeeep, perhaps this is the best way, the contract (had started?) in August(on one month) because I wanted to take a phone on Pay Monthly but the seller said that I couldn't take it now, until after this time so I agreed. Then after month I came back to him( in September) and I took the new contract on 24 months with phone in EE but I kept a old O2 number. The seller called to O2 and canceled my old contract but I had to paid for September my second bill in O2( I had contract for one month) and the new bill from EE with my old O2's number. Soooo I log on O2 page and I done transfer and after that my account was close. But today I had email from O2 and the message presented this content" Your O2 bill for 19/09/13 is now ready. The balance on your account means you have nothing to pay this month". a message appears that I don't have to pay but when I log on O2(before I couldn't) and I enter MY BILL I see this

My tariffs - O2 simplicity 50 : 06 Sep 13 - 30 Sep 13
-7.64
My monthly extras

0.00

Total before VAT

-7.64

VAT

-1.52

Total new charges-9.16

Total amount due
-£9.16

Can you tell me what I have to do now??? because I don't know?
I tried to explain this the best I could.
