which is good news as it implies that they haven't ruled it out.
I've not been able to find similar info in the UK for O2 (but I've been able to find surprisingly good prices for Vodafone and T-mobile).
This phone looks swish enough that I'll change networks to get it, but I'd rather stay with O2 if they offered it.

O2 - Had no idea about the phone and had never heard of it, was told that its not even in there coming soon database which show's phones to be released up until the end of November.
Voda - The guy had heard of the phone as he's been getting numbers of calls about it, said they where not due the phone in within the next 6 weeks but thats not to say that the phone might be available after that OR they might not even stock the phone at all, also said that some 3rd party suppliers are supplying them on the voda network ie mobile phones direct.
MISSED OPPERTUNITY !
was reading on another forum about discount codes for the nokia webiste which ended today, basically you could have got £200 off the nokia n900 on the nokia website but the offer ended in the early hours and we missed it, alot of people got the offer and the phones will be delivered last friday of this month or the following monday ! GUTTED

Shame we missed out of the offer of the discount. Hopefully o2 will be offering this free on a £35 18 Month contract.
In this case it is lucky that o2 don't care about Nokias, otherwise they would be trying to tie us in to a 24 month contract like if you want the Pre for nothing.

In the UK the Nokia N900 will be free on a two-year contract at £35 monthly plan from Orange, or for £10 on a £30 per month plan at O2 (with a two-year service agreement).
Mixed blessings, it seems

Spotted that one earlier too. What's the difference between a contract and a service agreement?

So perhaps that info is wrong or has been picked up from a re-seller?

Seen that in a couple of places. I'm due an upgrade and phoned O2 to be told that it was listed on either their launch or pre-launch schedules for the next two weeks.
So perhaps that info is wrong or has been picked up from a re-seller?
I just called them and its definitely not on their list.
