just got my new phone but there is no sim with it . Will this come separately ?

@mick2 where did the phone come from? 

Online order or in store etc.....

If it's an upgrade you need to continue to use your old SIM. 

If you need a different size, you can get a free swap in any O2 store.

For a contract phone the sim usually comes seperate by post.

@mick2 Is this a new contract with a new phone and new number? If not, it's possible that your current sim will fit in your new phone, and you won't need a new sim. If your new phone needs a different sized sim you can do a swap. https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/How-to-Guides/Sim-Swap-a-mini-guide-2017-update/ba-p/1060675
