On the 17th of september 2024, I changed my Volt plan with virgin media and o2. I activated a deal on the virgin side and all I had to do was cancel my £10.88 a month o2 contract and choose a new £6.00 3gb contract again with o2 so that I may continue with the benifits of the volt deal. I havedone this and I was promised a new sim in the post a few days later. The sim has not arrived and I have been left with no mobile calls but I can still connect with the broadband of virgin. Can you please tell me when my sim will arrive as next tuesday (1st october will be the last day to cancel this madness)

@William62 Nothing is ever as simple or as easy as it's supposed to be when it comes to making changes within O2. If you have no phone to use, download Skype Guide: A Guide to Skype to call customer service for free on +44800 032 1402
When it comes to the reason you are calling, stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
Say 'Upgrade', 'Lost/Stolen', or 'Fraud' if the suggestion above doesn't get you through.
Best time to call is 8 am.
You can also reach O2 via social media:
Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB), Twitter (now X) (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW), or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG)

Looks like you should contact the sales team as they can help with that – message them on Social Media if that works best for you -on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG)
Or you can call them on 0800 081 0255
Thanks

And there was no need to cancel your original O2 SIM...except it gives a bigger bonus to the Virgin rep.

Except it was a cheaper deal.
