Solved: moving to O2 from Vodafone

Hi, I'm loving to o2 from Vodafone and I have my new SIM card, which has a new number.

I'm keeping my old Vodafone number, and I gave the PAC code to the o2 operator when I signed up.

So, my question is what to do next?

do I text SWAP from the old number? The instructions said to do that from the number I will be using, but that is a Vodafone number so I'm confused as to how that will work...

Or do I put the new sim in my phone, text SWAP, and that will make the magic happen, close my Vodafone account and my old number will come to my new SIM card?

EDIT: I'm sorted. Live chat wasn't working when I asked my question, but they have now requested the port for me and it'll go live tomorrow... Apologies, I can't see how to delete this now unnecessary message...
