Hi

Im looking at virgin media only because i dont get 3g at my caravan with o2 but will with virgin how do i go about cancelling my contract and how do i go about keeping my number?

You can pac code although you would have to pay off the remaining part of any contract or if in refresh the handset plan.

Call 202 (free from your contract phone) and ask for your PAC code, this will allow you to transfer your number between networks, when you use your PAC code this will close your account with O2 automatically and your final bill will be generated within 14 days. Provided you're out of contract there shouldn't be anything to pay.
