lost phone info queston

i understand if you report your phone to o2 as lost/stolen they bar it but what happens if you find the lost/stolen phone do they un bar it or leve it barred

They will leave it barred incase you can't prove who you are, or trying an insurance fraud, or sold it on & trying to claim it after it been sold, you hear lots of these stories on here where people buy from places like eBay then find that they can't use the phone because there is a bar on it & the buyer has a bought a phone that he can't use while the seller takes the Money & runs then tries to make a stolen phone claim on his insurance

If you have had the phone barred and subsequently found it, O2 will unbar it for you providing that you pass the security checks and haven't made an insurance claim. It does take some time to get the phone active again though.
