keeping old o2 number when porting other network number across

Hi, I have requested to port another networks number to my current o2 account. I really need to keep my current o2 number on payg.  is there anyway i can reactivate my old 02 number or do i just lose the number forever?  Thanks

Unfortunately you will lose the o2 number unless you port your number into a brand new o2 account.
You can then retain your current o2 number as the accounts are separate.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
