HI, recently received my new Samsung Galaxy that i bought through Affordable mobiles. Wanted to move from O2 contract and old phone to a new contract with O2 on new phone and keep my number.

I received a new phone and SIM and before I got a chance to get a PAC code from my old phone O2 switched the SIM off.

Can I still bring my old number? Is O2 in the process of switching the number? How long will this take if this is the case?

Ive no idea what is happening and simply cant get through to O2. Its impossible.....

@scott123

You can't use a PAC to stay on the same network.

You'll need to call O2 to see where your number is and if it can be migrated to new contract.

Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support

The best number to get through seems to be
0800 587 4005

Call o2 customer services and tell them what happened.
They MIGHT be able to get it but no guarantees...
