pick up a free sim from your local O2 store. They will also transfer your existing number for you.

Alternatively call customer service who will post you a sim and use the online form to transfer the number.

Once you get your new sim, bear in mind that it can take up to 24 hours for it to activate, but it's usually quicker than that. Turn your phone off and on from time to time, and it will eventually become active.

Whenever I've done a sim swap in the past it's never taken more than half an hour but as said it can take up to 24
