included bundles in isle of man

I've just been talking to car phone warehouse and they tell me that I can get a free iPhone 4S from them on the o2 network for £17 a month that includes bundled minutes and free texts whilst I'm in the Isle of Man (where I live). They also say that on receipt of the phone I just need to insert my current manx telecom payg SIM card and then the phone will retain my current 07624 xxxxxx number. This all sounds to good to be true? Does anyone else have experience of this?

Yes I can understand that but if O2 decide to change something quite major for some then they are going to have to expect to deal with the calls

I have had occasion to call the I.O.M. twice in the last 7/8 months but received no notification. I wouldn't have known but for the Community.

Info for anyone with freinds, or family in Jersey

My son used to phone me on his inclusive minutes from the uk to Jersey until it was withdrawn on 4th december by o2"because it was too expensive a USP to continue"

I have just changed my contract in Jersey as at least one mobile phone provider (Sure) now allow unlimited minutes and txts to be used to the UK.

This tariff was just introduced in February 2014 must be using cheaper technology than available to o2
