When i view my itext messages on my O2 bill they are all just shown and grouped together as idata. Is it possible to request a breakdown of the messages and who they were sent to? This is quite important for a legal case that i can show i sent a message to a person on a particular day. Unfortunitely my iphone reset itself and i lost the original message that was sent. I have been told by O2 that I cannot recover the content if the message but can I at least get it conformed that i did send an i message at a certain time, what size it was in Kb and who it was sent to? Thanks for any help.

iMessage is just data so there is no way for o2 to distinguish between an iMessage or internet use, for example.
If you have iCloud back up turned on your iMessages should be backed up on there so if you were to restore a backup you may find your missing messages.

Hi thanks for your response. Unfortunately nothing was backed up on the cloud. It sounds like thats it then if theres no way O2 can itimise the idata messages 😞
