hello, I am on a 24 month contract for a Samsung phone on 02. My son has just upgraded and he has given me his iPhone 4 on 02. In know the sims are different sizes and I have a solution for that. But if I put my sim in will it enable me to use the iPhone. Eg texts, phone calls etc.

You'd need to ask o2 to go on idata settings if Your on a contract. Ring 202.

All else should work fine.

Edit - you'll need an.Apple id too. Easy to set.up.

Yes no problem.
Get you sim swapped and ask CS to change your data package and everything else will work fine.
Make sure you wipe the iPhone completely of any old user data first though as this can cause issues if not done.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Your son will also need to deregister the phone from his account. Again, easy to do on the Apple website.
