I have just changed fro a contract to Pay as you Go as I use my phone very little.
I also have an IPad which I use all the time which is through Sky.
I put £10 on my phone last week and now my balance is Zero. What is eating all my credit?
I am 56 and not brilliant with tech..

If you have mobile data turned on it will eat through your credit.
Turn on wifi and turn off mobile data and you should be OK.
However, you may have bought a bundle with the £10 which will now give you calls, texts and data for 30 days.
Check in your My O2 for the tariff you are on http://www.o2.co.uk/myo2

It will be data as apps will be updating in the background. There is also Web Daily which charges you £1.00/day no matter how little data you use.
The only way to stop this is to either switch off mobile data and use only wifi or choose a tariff which gives you some data each month.
Also be careful of sending texts which convert to mms, this can be turned off in settings.
