iPhone 7 plus not told of low stock

Not happy at all!!! While chatting live to an advisor I was purchasing the 7plus on contract, I paid the up front fee and was told I would receive it the next day. I then received an email telling me they had none in stock and I will be told when I will be getting it when in stock. The advisor knew what i was doing and didn't bother to inform me of this issue. But instead told me I would get it the next day. If I knew this was the case I would have ordered a colour in stock. I feel misled and used for my money!!

@Anonymous This is a known issue & it looks like the networks have no idea when they are getting stock. Some people that pre ordered at launch are still waiting.

You can complain here

There are no colours of the 7+ in stock but o2 are happy to lie to customers and take their money.
It's borderline criminal IMHO.

Couldn't agree more. Appalling immoral practice...Smiley Mad

He/She were only try to get a sale. However, over the phone, they tend to provide you actual stock levels before they process any payments. And on the plus side, it's a lot more secure for large transactions.

No... what they do is take your money under false pretences and then inform you there is no stock.

If I bought a HD TV from Currys and paid a large upfront payment, then set up a direct debit to pay it monthly..I would not be prepared to wait weeks for it to 'come back into stock'. Though it wouldn't happen anywhere that operated a live stock ordering system would it?

Well you'd be wrong then. They told me stock levels over the phone before taking payment. I guess you got the wrong person.
