iPhone 6 launch day @ o2 store

Hi all,

A live agent just told me that I may be able to walk away with an iPhone 6 if I queue up on the launch day??

I thought only Apple offered "limited" iPhones on the launch days on sim free.

So if I do queue up say from 6am at my local o2, can I really get an iPhone 6 on contract?

Anyone ever tried this?

Let me know please I'm so confused yet desperate!!!

I can queue up at Apple and but the sim only at o2 but I want to go for that 20GB data deal!!!

Got It!

I was a little worried as I'd not had a single text or email from O2 confirming my pre order.

Walked into the O2 store At about 9:30 this moring and was out with my iPhone 6 at 9:45. Even got a goody bag with chocolate, apple juice & a bottle of water for my trouble!

There certainly are more available than has been implied. Out of 5 mobile shops been into, 3 had stock available to anyone, 1 was upgrade and preorder only and 1 only had 6 not 6+ and was preorder collection only.

Walked in and they only had 6 and 6+ were preorders- gutted. Next door was EE and got it with them - 6+ silver 64gb, 24x49 + £280 upfront for unlimited texts/mins and 20gb 4G.

Awesome phone- really pleased. Speed test had 30.xx down and 36mb up on 4G!! That's mad! Good coverage with EE!
