iPhone 6 launch day @ o2 store

Anonymous

Hi all,

A live agent just told me that I may be able to walk away with an iPhone 6 if I queue up on the launch day??

I thought only Apple offered "limited" iPhones on the launch days on sim free.

So if I do queue up say from 6am at my local o2, can I really get an iPhone 6 on contract?

Anyone ever tried this?

Let me know please I'm so confused yet desperate!!!

I can queue up at Apple and but the sim only at o2 but I want to go for that 20GB data deal!!!

Thanks!
Ramon

If you have the disposable income then I'd say the Apple store but you want the 20gb plan.

I'd then say wait until the frenzy has settled and go from there. slight_smile

Exactly - There will be plenty of choice in around 6 weeks time.....

No I'm getting one one the launch day!!!!!

If I do end up queueing at an o2 shop then I'm risking my place at Apple store which means I need to ask someone to queue up at Apple in case o2 shop back hands me not nice at all so disappointed didn't expect this from o2.

What do you mean by "plenty of choice"?

I can buy from Apple but I asked the agent and she said they do 8GB sim only tops and nothing near 20GB so I have no options please help!!!!

We can't help, you just have to take a chance at the store of your choice.

It's a toss up of having what the Apple store could offer to the new refresh tariff only O2 can offer.

Oh and the chunk of cash if you go sim free with Apple.

Basically this is your choice.
Queue at Apple and get your phone and a lesser data plan.
Queue at O2 and "maybe" get your phone on the tariff you want.
One of these will get you the phone on release day and all of the bonuses that come with it.
One of them may not and you won't have either.
I know exactly what I'd do...

A lot if people will of started queuing for the iphone 6 and the 6 plus already outside apple shop maybe with carphone warehouse shop too, they probably started queuing last Friday when pre ordered started. So it just a matter off going really early to queue up.

The only "help" I can suggest is forgetting about Apple and get a Note 4 wink
