iPad sharing data allowances

Hi all I just discovered that the four iPads I bought at Xmas can't share data although they all are set up a being able to share data .
The reason for this I'm told is that they have all been set up as leads in their own right so they can't share between them

Has anyone else had this problem as was unaware when I set the contracts up and now customer services on the phone say they can't do anything about it because that's how they were set in the contracts . I'm annoyed and disappointed that they can change the lead option on these and would warn anyone doing the same with two or more devices that they check this point in their contracts . So in this case data sharing can't be done or so I'm told . I've booked a guru visit back to the store I bought them from and written to some email addresses that I have taken from this forum .

You need to change one of the tariffs to be a lead device.
You should have stated this when taking the contracts as no one would have known that was your intention.

Hi, 

I have a iphone with 20gb on a sharer plan and also the following:

- 2 pay as you go ipad cards with 30 data

- iPad with refresh 24 contract 500mb monthly

I want to share my iphones 20gb with any ONE on the above but over the phone they seem to say they cannot do it, over the live chat i've had nothing but poor advice and it is not that convenient for me to get to a store due to work etc.

All items are in my name and with O2.
