iMessage and WhatsApp not working when roaming

Hello

I’m currently in Australia and keep finding that my phone won’t send or receive iMessages or connect on WhatsApp. The rest of the internet services including email and other apps work fine. I’ve tried changing networks and phone resets but I get nothing.

Can anyone offer any advice at all?

Not sure whether it's something to do with your settings or the fact you need a new sim card (which you can only get once you come back to the UK?)

I will ask for this thread to be merged with the first one, as it keeps everything in one place and easier for others to follow...

This exact thing is happening to me! I am currently in the Gold Coast, Australia and my WhatsApp, fb messenger and iMessages won’t load! It’s so frustrating, if anyone could help that would be amazing

Do these apps load when you use Wifi? If so you have your answer, Data is probably too slow?
