I recently got a samsung mini, and thinking it was a good idea, i thought i'd get your pay as you go £10.00 pay as you go monthly bolt on, on realising this was going to cost me a £120 a year,I'm now enquiring on how to go back to the 2g setup.

ohh! and another thing it said sign up to this blot-on and get 750mb allowance but instead by text i'm told it's 500mb

A little confused by your post. What 2G setup would that be? All of O2's sims are now 4G. Were you on a contract? Has the contract finished? Did you notify O2 that you wanted to cancel the contract? Did you transfer your number to the Pay & Go sim?

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

I'm not fully understanding your question but in order to just use 2g you need to change the setting on your phone.
Settings >More >Mobile Networks and select 2g (GSM) Only.
However, if you have an allowance for data, there is no point to this as you may as well use it.
The £10 PAYG tariff provides calls, texts and data each month. If you only want to top up and keep your credit for calling and texting you need to switch your tariff to the "Big Talker", "International" or "O2 Basic".
The first 2 can be swapped in your "MYO2" http://www.o2.co.uk/myo2 but if you want basic you will need to call CS on 4445.
Hope that helps and sorry if I've misunderstood.
