hav i got the wrong dongle for windows 8

hi ther i have just purchased a mobile dongle today and it is not working for some reason its on pay and go ,,,i have windows 8 on my lappy so wondering if that is why and if i can do anything please help 😞

Hi there.

The dongle should not make any difference, but the software will.

You can download a Windows 8 compatible connection manager here, but at the moment it appears to be undergoing some work.

Also check any Pc Security Suite and or firewall, as it could be blocking the connection.

If possible try your dongle in an alternative Pc / Mac to ensure its not the actual dongle at fault.
