I have recently found out someone has used my identity to   open up 3x 02 accounts

i noticed it when i checked my experian report

experian have contacted 02 and have also contacted 02 and told i had to wait for 02 fraud department

to get in touch with me.

since then i have had 3 default notices from 02 demanding payment to stop further action

all this has decimated my credit score

is there a number i can ring 02 fraud department on

Regards

i have spoke to 02 via online chat they said the fraud department will contact me  within 10 working days

i notified action fraud and they gave me a reference number

it is worrying that it is so easy to order a phone via 02 online using stolen details

this very stressful

Same as with any credit provider, if they have all your personal details, they can open an account.

They can go online and open a bank account in your name, go get credit cards etc....

Using the CRA in this instance is pointless, as they can't really do anything about fraud.

I would also contact all the CRA's and you bank, and put a CIFAS flag on your credit report, and also make sure all your passwords are changed.
