i checked what the charges were for it gave me two long numbers and had the price of £0.292 next to both.

the numbers were very long numbers so i dont understand where the charges have come from.

i havent text any short numbers that may charge me, ibe only text people i know

I would give O2 a call on 202 and explain you know nothing about them and ask them to explain what they are

^^^ You get that number if you accidentally enter an email address in the recipient box.

I don't understand how the op has been charged 29p plus vat when they were supposed to be going up to 40p unless they were sent before March I suppose

At 40p it makes sense to use What's App or similar. I won't pay it and nor will many others.

MMS Really should be inclusive now as there are so many free alternatives.

Also as MMS used data why are they not taken out of data allowance? ??

It (MMS)does not use any data allowance but mobile data needs to be turned on to send and receive as far as I understand this.

Hi BoB

I agree with you. Just question o2's charging here.

Why charge for an item that uses data but doesn't come out of data allowance and if course all the alternatives that are generally free
