How do I make sure that a contract has ended at the end of the contract term? Do I have to call O2 to tell tham that I don't want to continue?

You have to call Customer Services on 202 from your mobile (free call) and give 30 days notice that you want to cancel your contract. If you don't notify O2, your contract will then become a one month rolling contract at the time your original contract is meant to end.
