Hi everyone,
Came across a weird situation. My mum's iPhone 14 on an O2 eSIM stopped working yesterday as in it either shows no network in the top right hand corner or the Satellite image. Wi-fi works just fine. The funny thing is that my iPhone 14 Pro on the same sort of O2 eSIM was just fine.
Here's what I did:
1. Restarted her phone - made no difference
2. Reset Network Settings - instead of no network bars, just showed the satellite image
3. Went to the O2 app, her passcode wasn't accepted so she signed in to the app using her user name and password. The moment she did that, suddenly the network started working.
So here's my question.
Should the O2 app have any control over whether or not her eSIM works? She's had this for over 2 years now, so it's not like she just got it.
As I mentioned , my iPhone worked just fine with the same sort of eSIM, so network availability shouldn't have been the issue.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Oh, and we are in Cardiff.
Thanks!!

There was an issue with esims this week which O2 have now fixed so probably just a coincidence that it started working again at that point.
