data no working on holiday

im on holiday in france and my data has stoped working, when it was working fine when i left home

it comes up with 3g with 3-4 bars and a loading circle but when i try and use data on it nothing works

i have checked that the data seting is on and data roaming seting

i have turn phone on and off

i checked i still have data 

this is the first time i have take this phone out side the uk i dont no if thats soming to do with it

also i didn't get a taxted to say welcome to france ever like i did on my old phone

im staying in Brittany where my parents own a van on a site been going there for the past 9 years. they also own a house to witch we are trying to sell

That sounds nice @dg07. I've heard that the islands in Brittany are really lovely.
