Hi  , i want to know why o2  seems fit to keep charging me £1  every day i don`t use my iphone it`s most annoying ,i know it`s just a paltry pound ,but it is the principle of the matter . 3 times this has happened now ..  Any one here know why this is happening ,cheers.

I can only assume it's a Web daily charge as even though you aren't using the phone, it is still connecting to the Internet.

Turn off mobile data on your phone. This will prevent the phone accessing any data services and thus prevent the £1 web daily charge.

They can do, but with data turned off the phone won't be able to access it anyway.

You might want to think about changing your tariff unless you leave mobile data off permanently.

Not if you only send 3 texts a day and make 1 phone call a week.......

Point is, we can't assume there are better plans available as we don't know the intended use of the phone.

Thanks for the clarification @MI5. I wasn't sure if WiFi Assist forced Mobile Data to turn on automatically.
