data all used up 2 days into period?

I used a bit of video last week so can understand a bit of data use, but my account is showing 400mb used from 21st September, the date my monthly account resets - what has happened?? is there a chance that the data allowance hasn't been reset for my new monthly period?  I haven't used any data at all since Saturday.

It sounds to me as if you went over your limit and they have clawed the extra back from the next month's allowance.

Hi,

Thats alot of data used in a short period of time.

Ring o2 on 202 to get some clarification into where its gone !

Make sure you have the right APN settings.

http://www.geeksquad.co.uk/articles/chapter/595-04-how-to-set-apn-settings-for-the-02-mobile-network

If its an error they will reset it back.

A app called Onavo which is a free download will give you some insight into the amount being used and what by.

Its available both to iOS and Onavo.

Although the new iOS7 has this info in the settings now.

I was not aware that if the Contract Customer remained on throttled speeds and continued using data, then any Mb gone over is auto deducted from the following months allowance.

Is that the case ?

I was not aware of that, thought that only happened when buying a bolt on?

That's my understanding too Jonsie.

If a contract customer goes over their tariff allowance . Goes to throttled speeds, and then buys a bolt on ,any overage gets deducted from the Data bolt on purchased.
