We are all customers here.

I'd suggest visiting an O2 shop if your sim is damaged to pick up a new one and they will transfer your number and tariff to it.

Or ring cs or use online live chat to have one sent out although as the sim swap requires a code to be sent to your original SIM card to proceed this May not work if your sim is not working at all.

Hi and welcome to the Community.

Are you near an o2 shop? Given that your sim card is damaged it is quite possible that there could be a problem doing a sim swap which, in a worst case scenario leave you without a phone for a day or few until it is sorted.

I world recommend going into an o2 shop and asking them to do the sim swap for you. Should only take minutes and whilst sim swaps can take up to 24 hours to complete on the network in practice it only takes a short while. Mine took 5 minutes.
