The user must have minutes allowance available though, I think a lot of people are making that mistake. For example I have unlimited minutes so when in Europe its 50p to connect then comes out of my allowance. If the user has no minutes left or isn't on an unlimited plan then they will be charged accordingly. Hope this helps x

Calls Made 50p connection charge.

Calls over 60 mins will be charged 35p per minute from the 60th minute. This is charged in per second increments.
(Same applies to calls received)
Therefore if the user has no minutes available the above charges would apply.
