charged £15 when cancelling airtime plan after 1 day

Anonymous
Not applicable

hi, not sure if this is the right place for this...

i bought a samsung s7 on device plan and airtime plan.  The phone arrived yesterday and today i called to pay off the device in full. Then i asked to cancel the airtime and was told that i'd be charged in full for the the first month. I was told that the 14 day cooling off period doesn't apply. Is this correct?

Yes that is correct.
It states in the T&C's that the first month of airtime is chargeable as you have to give 30 days notice.

The 14 day cooling off period applies when you cancel and return the phone for change of mind reasons.
